Here are some pictures of claims we've previously offered. They're not for sale any longer but it gives you an idea of the type of claims we generally look for. Our focus has always been Sierra County, California since that's been where we've always mined. However, over the past few years, we've been doing more and more exploration and prospecting in Nevada. We still believe the best gold potential in the country lies under the ground in Sierra County, but the problem is actually getting it out of the ground. Nevada is a mining friendly state and a place where you can actually run a mine and try to make a living doing it. Of course your problem in Nevada is water, but lode mines can be operated with a minimum amount of water. If you want the potential for big gold, and shade, then Sierra County is a good pick regardless of which type of equipment you plan on using, but if you want the potential for a real, operating, mine then Nevada is a better pick.

Some say the North Fork of the Yuba River is the best gold river in the country. Thousands of ounces of gold have been recovered from this river over the years and it still produces great gold. A 106lb nugget was found just upstream at the Kentucky Mine, you can read about the big nugget here. The big rivers in California will replenish with gold each flood, and the Yuba is one of these big rivers. Of the three forks of the Yuba - the North, Middle and South Fork, the North Fork is the most sought after. With super easy access, a wide river and shallow bedrock this is a dream claim. If, as some are saying, dredging will be legal in California in 2021, then anything on the Yuba River would be a good bet to make.
